THE six-year-old Irish-bred stallion Ganesh Hero Z has been sold to Mexico and will be seen in the future under Carlos Hank.

Bred at Kinmar Stud in Co Monaghan by Gerry Marron, in partnership with Belgian breeder Luc Henry from Hero Stud, the Zangersheide-registered stallion by Gemini xx was preliminary approved at the Horse Sport Ireland stallion inspections in April 2019. He was at stud and produced in Ireland by Damien Griffin until he was a five-year-old. Then sold to Stable Van Decraen, he went to Belgium last September where he was ridden successfully by Melanie Gelin. The pair won the six-year-old final at Sentower Park in June and attracted some substantial offers, it is understood.
