Vamos Amigos to Pidgley
CATHRINE Laudrup-Dufour’s team gold and individual World silver medallist Vamos Amigos has moved to Britain to be ridden by 17-year-old Annabella Pidgley. The Pidgley family have owned the 10-year-old Vitalis gelding while Dufour was producing him through the ranks. He joins the Olympic double bronze-medal winner Gio in Annabella’s string.
Writing on her social media, Annabella said: “I’m delighted to say that Vamos Amigos has now joined our stable to begin the next chapter in his career. This horse has already had an impressive career, under the invaluable training and guidance of Cathrine Dufour and I can’t thank her enough for supporting this next move for him and to have the opportunity to ride a horse like this.”
