NAVAL Crown is a new addition to the Darley roster at Kildangan Stud for 2023. His fee has been set at €15,000.

When winning the Group 1 Platinum Jubilee Stakes at this year’s Royal Ascot, Naval Crown beat 11 Group 1 winners.

The son of Dubawi broke his maiden by four and a half lengths in the prestigious Convivial Maiden at York. He was champion three-year-old in the UAE, taking the Meydan Classic where he finished ahead of Master Of The Seas. He enjoyed further Group 2 success in Dubai this year as a four-year-old. Naval Crown will be Dubawi’s sixth son on the Darley stallion roster.

Dubawi’s stallion sons have also enjoyed great success this year, with Night Of Thunder further cementing his position as his sire’s successor. Also standing at Kildangan, Night Of Thunder has had his fee raised from €75,000 to €100,000.

Young stallion Blue Point, who will have his first runners next year, has had his fourth-season fee trimmed to €35,000.

Belardo has moved from Kildangan to Bearstone Stud in Britain, while Ribchester, who has enjoyed significant success in France courtesy of recent high-profile Group 3 winner Facteur Cheval, moves to join the Darley roster at Haras du Logis in Normandy.
