SHOWJUMPING Ireland has announced a new league title sponsor for the National Grand Prix League in Premier Performance.

The National Grand Prix league is the mainstay of national show jumping and covers all parts of the country and a wide spectrum of show types from the traditional agricultural shows to the many shows held at the country’s top venues.

2025 will see 19 rounds within the Premier Performance National Grand Prix League, beginning today, April 26th, at Duffy’s Equestrian, through to August 31st with the final taking place during the 2025 Irish Breeders’ Classic. Once again, the league will be lucrative, with just over €100,000 in prize money available.

“We are delighted to welcome a new sponsor for our National Grand Prix League. This league is one of the pillars of national show jumping and visits all parts of the country,” Showjumping Ireland national competitions chairperson Marguerite Ryan said.

“We are delighted that Premier Performance showed an interest in supporting Irish show jumping and, as part of their sponsorship plan, agreed to become title sponsor of the league. We are thrilled to see international companies taking an interest in Irish show jumping and supporting our riders and Showjumping Ireland. We look forward to working with Premier Performance throughout the year.”

Premier Performance is a well-established UK-founded equine supplements company, which was founded by Camila Zanna. The company is best-known for producing a wide range of equine calming cookies which are sold worldwide. The company made the decision to set up its European Headquarters in Ireland in 2024 and are currently setting up a manufacturing and distribution facility in Newbridge, Co Kildare.

“Premier Performance Ireland produces a full range of equine competition and leisure supplements and feeds which are fully accredited, tested and the entire ethos of the company is to work to support and improve the welfare of the horse,” Zanna said.

“We see supporting the National Grand Prix Series as part of a programme of sponsorship and support in developing awareness of the products and their benefits and we will be delighted to work with any riders, owners and breeders to help them get the best from their horse or pony while ensuring it receives the best level of supplement support.

“Showjumping Ireland supports a huge amount of activity within the sector and we are delighted to be able to provide support and sponsorship into the sport and sector by working with Showjumping Ireland. We will be available to members throughout the league to offer advice and support and we are looking forward to the start of the 2025 league.”
