A packed five-day edition of the Connemara Pony Sales is currently underway in Clifden, Co Galway. With over 1300 catalogued lots, the bumper sale got off to a super start on Thursday when lot 52, Hay Scoby, became the highest priced pony of the day, and also of the year so far, when he was snapped up for €14,500.
