A TOTAL of 27 stud farms will participate in the Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Irish Stallion Trail next month. This will be the third staging of the event and it will take place on Friday and Saturday, January 27th and 28th.

The trail slots in between two premium days of racing with the Goffs Thyestes Handicap Chase at Gowran Park on Thursday, January 26th, followed by the BHP Insurances Irish Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown on Sunday, January 29th.

ITM’s marketing manager Sarah Nash said: “The 2016 ITM Irish Stallion Trail was a fantastic weekend building on the huge success of 2015.”
