REPORTS that racing from Tramore on New Year’s Day will not be shown live on Racing TV are incorrect, according to a spokesperson for the new channel.

January 1st will mark the launch of Racing TV which has secured the rights to show Irish racing ‘direct to home’ for the next five years. Currently known as Racing UK, the rebranded channel will attempt to show racing from both Fairyhouse and Tramore on New Year’s Day, alongside the action from Cheltenham, Exeter, Musselburgh and Catterick.
