DUBLIN not only won the men’s and women’s football finals last weekend, they also landed the double in the style stakes at Leopardstown.
Clodagh Healy from Harold’s Cross and local man Jonathan Fox (left) were chosen as winners of the Longines Prizes for Elegance. They each won a timepiece and a hotel break.
Clodagh, who works in banking, wore a hat by Aoife Harrison, top by Roland Mouret, skirt from H&M gold collection and shoes by Manolo Blahnik. Asked to describe his outfit, Jonathan, who works in software development, simply said “suit”.
Sunday’s winners at the Curragh were Paula Gannon from Athlone and Philip Rogers from Belfast (right). Paula is fast becoming a legend on the ‘most stylish’ circuit. In the past year the art teacher has won similar prizes at Leopardstown’s Christmas meeting, Kilbeggan and Irish Grand National day at Fairyhouse, where the prize included a trip to Nashville. Jim Gavin would be proud of that record!
