LISTOWEL has an action-packed programme both on and off the course for the forthcoming seven-day Harvest Racing Festival from Sunday, September 18th to Saturday, September 24th.

Off course, the powers that be have packed in the entertainment with no fewer than six fashion competitions with dedicated days for ladies, men, couples, sustainable/vintage, blue jeans and fancy dress; exceptional free children’s entertainment is on the Sunday, live music will entertain and some very special celebrity guests will jet in. Plus the ‘Save your Heels, We’ve got Wheels’ free double decker bus is back on Ladies Day!

Sunday features a new best dressed event - the Lyrath Estate Best Dressed Couples competition, with a prize fund valued at €2,000! Sunday is also family day sponsored by Garvey’s SuperValu. Highlights include the free Wooly Farm with chicks, guinea pigs, hens, ducks, rabbits, lambs, piglets and pygmy goats, plus Roo the Llama!

To keep you in good form Sunday sees the return of Giggles Entertainment with a mini disco, face painting, free balloons and Coco Melon and Mickey Mouse will meet and greet all the children as they arrive.

Forever in Blue Jeans, dressing up as your favourite super hero, TV or movie star, vintage fashion, and generous prizes for male and female style means everyone’s a winner. Head to the kingdom.
