THE Danny Mullins phenomenon continues to grow. The good-looking jump jockey is the Tote’s pin-up and now he’s fronting Leopardstown’s Christmas fashion competition.

We strongly believe some of this is down to The Irish Field publishing a series of photographs of Danny topless during the summer months. We’re expecting a tin of Roses any day now.

Danny’s latest gig is promoting the best dressed prizes on day three of the Leopardstown Christmas meeting (December 28th). This will see Irish designer Benetti Menswear sponsor the best dressed prizes for ladies and gentlemen, to the tune of €7,500.

Another major sponsorship at the meeting comes from Irish equine science company Plusvital who will again sponsor the trainers’ championship as well as the bumper on the final day.

The overall winning trainer will be awarded €1,500 worth of Plusvital nutritional supplement and genetic testing products.

In addition, the grooms of the best turned out horses each day will receive a Plusvital equine care pack.

Yet another Irish company supporting Leopardstown is mortgage protection company Beatthebank.ie. They have agreed a three-year sponsorship deal around the €40,000 Grade 3 Mares Hurdle with the Irish EBF.
