NINA Carberry is the joint-author of a new book aimed at young boys and girls.

Entitled Ride to the Rescue, the book is the first in a series inspired by Nina’s own childhood. It tells the story of best friends Grace and Aaron who go on adventures with their ponies Daisy and Nipper.

Teaming up with Nina on this project are writer Julie Sykes and illustrator Nuno Alexandre Vieira. Both have an ‘equine’ pedigree of sorts. Julie wrote the Unicorn Academy series of books and Nuno illustrated the bestselling Fairy Unicorns series.

Ride to the Rescue, by Nina Carberry, will be published by Gill Books on September 28th, priced at €13.99. It can be ordered now online from a variety of bookstores.
