MANY congratulations to Australia’s Darcy Miller, who won the run phase of the Girls’ International Tetrathlon at Punchestown last Saturday, when amassing 1,072 points. Ireland’s Ellie Dillon (Kildare) was second on 1,024.

Miller, a 22-year-old from Tasmania, has been a member of the Leven Branch for 15 years, competing mainly in show jumping and Tetrathlon. She also runs with her local athletics club and competes in shot put and discus throwing competitions.

Unfortunately, Darcy didn’t have the best ride score and finished down the final leaderboard, unlike her compatriot Isabelle Cox, who was ninth overall in the 41-strong field. Isabelle, who is in her final year of high school, is a member of the Esperance Branch in Western Australia.
