THE very best of luck to all those competing in this weekend’s Overlander/Irish Pony Club National Minimus Championships.

Today (Saturday), starting at 9.30am at Killossery Lodge Stud, 148 members of Branches from all over the country will take on the challenge of the ride phase over a demanding 20-obstacle course, which has many optional fences.

Tomorrow, the action moves on to the Sport Ireland Campus in Blanchardstown, where the swim phase will start in the National Aquatic Centre at 10.30am. It’s then over to the National Modern Pentathlon Centre for the running phase (starting at 1.30pm), after which the prize-giving ceremony will take place at 4pm.
