CONNOLLY’s Red Mills are once again sponsoring the Irish Pony Club’s eventing championships, with members already counting down the days to the first weekend of qualifiers in mid-May.
This year’s Red Mills series will feature 14 qualifiers throughout the summer, culminating in an exciting final at the popular Tattersalls Ireland complex in Co Meath on Saturday and Sunday, August 23rd and 24th.
Each year, the championships continue to grow, and last year’s event saw an impressive 485 competitors vying for honours. This year promises to be even bigger and better, offering young riders the opportunity to showcase their talent in a highly competitive and supportive environment.
As part of the Connolly’s Red Mills group, Foran Equine will be sponsoring the overall eventing league for the third year, while another subsidiary of the Co Kilkenny company, Carr & Day & Martin, will once again sponsor the best dressage score in each arena at the championships in August.
Jane Davis, head of marketing at Connolly’s Red Mills, emphasised the importance of supporting young riders: “The Irish Pony Club plays a vital role in nurturing the next generation of equestrians, providing them with invaluable experience and opportunities that shape their future careers.
“At Connolly’s Red Mills, alongside Foran Equine and Carr & Day & Martin, we are incredibly proud to support these talented young athletes as they progress in the sport.”
Ivan Hatton, operations manager of the Irish Pony Club, stated: “The Irish Pony Club is delighted to announce that Connolly’s Red Mills has once again agreed to be the main sponsor of our eventing qualifiers and championship. We sincerely thank them for their generous and continued support. Their deep ties to the Irish Pony Club and the wider equine industry make this partnership especially meaningful.”
