CONGRATULATIONS to newly-weds, Aidan Williamson and Lucinda Farmbrough, whose recent big day brought guests from the Irish and UK showing world to a ‘halfway’ meeting point in Co Kildare.

The couple originally met in 2016 at the Royal International Horse Show, when Aidan was working that summer for the Hood Show Team and Lucinda was a Hood client, who went on to take the supreme pony title with coloured pony champion, Tambrook My Destiny. They met again three years later at the same show and started dating, before Lucinda, originally from Bedfordshire, moved to West Cork to live with Aidan in January 2021.

They made another move that September to Dublin, where Aidan now works for the Bank of Ireland as an actuary and Lucinda is a HR manager for the Irish corporate law firm, William Fry.

Their wedding took place on November 9th with guests travelling from home, the UK and America to join in a proper Irish wedding. The church ceremony was at Saints Mary and Laurence Church, Crookstown, followed by the reception and day two party at Kilkea Castle. Among the horsey guests were groomsman, Oliver Hood and wife Amelia.

Malaysia is the main honeymoon destination in January, when travel plans include Singapore, Panang, Kuala Lumpar and assorted islands.
