EVENTING Olympian Michael Ryan featured on the first Irish Horse World cover of 2025, on January 4th. After seeing the fabulous picture of his six-year-old grey hunter JP, captured by hunting photographer Catherine Power, the horse was snapped up by an American buyer from Seattle. “She bought him to go eventing. He has never jumped a pole but has hunted the last two seasons. My brother Hughie hunted hounds off him five or six times,” Ryan said.
