AMONG the arena party at the Horse Sport Ireland inspections last week was JP Rogan, a sergeant in the Irish Army and currently serving as part of the Peacekeeping Force in Lebanon.

“It’s a six-month tour with four months done, so we’re just home on leave for three weeks. I’ll be back on April 3rd and then I’m home on May 25th.”

Meanwhile, Ellie, JP and Cathy’s daughter, is already gearing up for another show season and has already featured in the results at Roscrea Equestrian Centre’s spring league.
