YOUNG Leo Melia may only have turned one last Sunday, December 29th, but he has already been hunting with his pony Lucy on two occasions, and has also competed at his first show!

Son of show jumpers, Jessica Lee and Cian Melia from Caherlistrane in Co Galway, Leo celebrated his first birthday by attending the North Galway Foxhounds’ Children’s hunt in Cong, Co Mayo.

We are sure Leo will feature in the pages of Irish Horse World for many years to come.
