ON the racing front, there were a few equestrian-related winners recently.

On Friday last at Musselburgh, the three-mile handicap hurdle was won by the Fergal O’Brien-trained Mahler Moon, who got off the mark on his 16th attempt. The seven-year-old Mahler gelding was bred out of the unraced Presenting mare Celestial Spirit by Gerry Leahy who, on Saturday, was at Tyrella to see his 11-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding Millridge Atlantis finish fourth in the EI115 under Ian Cassells.
