TIPPERARY show jumper Darragh Ryan had returned home to Thurles to set up his own competition and training yard at Tipperary Equestrian Centre, where his parents, Tomás and Fiona run a successful show centre.

The 23-year-old, who is a graduate of the prestigious Rolex Young Rider Academy, spent a number of years riding for his Thurles neighbour Greg Broderick at Ballypatrick Stables before moving to Cian O’Connor’s Karlswood Stables and he spent the last year producing young horses in Belgium.
