THE Mackey sisters from Co Waterford, Emma (16) and Hannah (13), made winning debuts as brand ambassadors for Equine Viewer – Ireland at the Carlow Hunt training show last Sunday week.

On the level, Emma won the Connemara class for riders under 16 with the British-bred Skellorn Prairie Starlight (by Skellorn Monarch) while Hannah took the honours in the 153cms working hunter class with another Connemara, Ella’s Melody, a 14-year-old son of I Love You Melody. Both ponies are owned by the riders’ mother, Emily Widger.
