THE Wicklow Irish Pony Society announced that their Spring Show scheduled for Saturday, April 8th at Spruce Lodge has secured ‘Omega Naturals’ as title sponsor.

The show is being run in memory of Peter Molloy, former chairman of the Wicklow Area IPS for over 40 years, who sadly passed away in January. All proceeds from the event will go to The Irish Cancer Society.

Omega Naturals is a new Irish brand that has developed a specialist Omega Supplement for horses and ponies. It contains the essential Omega 3 and 6 and has significant levels of the highly desired Omega-3 long chain fatty acids, Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), uniquely these are provided by a sustainable non-fish source in Algal Oil.

Thrilled

Fiona Goor, show secretary, said: “We are thrilled to have Omega Naturals support our Spring Show. Omega Naturals Primeform is a revolutionary product to market that has so many benefits to all horses and ponies but may be of particular benefit to the Working Hunter ponies and many of those competing at our Spring Show will be representing Ireland at the International Working Hunter Championships in Scotland, The Royal International Horse Show in Hickstead and Horse of The Year Show in 2023.’’

Kate Deegan, owner and founder of Omega Naturals said, “I’m delighted and honoured to be part of this event for such a worthwhile cause and in memory of a great man. It should be a great day for the children with plenty of prizes on offer as well. Omega Naturals Primeform has so many health benefits for horses and ponies and of particular interest is that it can help improve their coats and support their joints. I look forward to meeting many from the showing community on the day.”
