WELL over €30,000 was raised at last Tuesday night’s ITBA Racing & Breeding Quiz (and online auction) in the Lord Bagenal Hotel in Bagenalstown, Co Carlow. The proceeds went to the family of the late David Naughton of Loughtown Stud.

The quiz was named in memory of Mark O’Hanlon, the Irish Thoroughbred Marketing representative who died last year. Members of Mark’s family were in attendance to present the Mark O’Hanlon Perpetual Cup to the winners. Representing Horse Racing Ireland, the winning team consisted of Martin Murphy, Shane Doyle, Brian Kavanagh and Jason Morris.
