DAY three of the 2025 Punchestown Festival will be the inaugural Macra Na Feirme Festival Day.

The new sponsorship will see Thursday, May 1st, become a celebration of rural Ireland, while raising awareness and Funds for Macra’s ‘Make The Moove’ initiative.

Macra Na Feirme is a community of over 13,000 people involved in farming, aged between 17 and 40.

Macra Na Feirme Day at Punchestown will feature the Ladbrokes Champion Stayers’ Hurdle, Barberstown Champion Novice Chase and the historic Mongey La Touche Cup Cross Country Race.

Elaine Houlihan, president of Macra Na Feirme, said: “This is a wonderful opportunity to bring our members together in a unique social setting, while also supporting an important cause.

“We are delighted to partner with Punchestown to raise funds and awareness of our ‘Make The Moove’ initiative, which provides vital mental health support to farm families across Ireland, whilst enjoying a much-needed social day out.”
