TIME analysis backs up the performance of Bob Olinger in winning the Grade 1 Lawlor’s of Naas Novice Hurdle last Wednesday week and suggests that he is second only to Appreciate It (153) among novice hurdlers trained in Ireland and seen out so far.

The race was the longest over hurdles and a bumper on the card but Bob Olinger recorded an average speed significantly faster than the winners of those other three races in seeing off Blue Lord, Gabynako and Flanking Maneuver with ease, and can be credited with a 151-rated performance.
