There can’t be a jockey or racing fan in the country that thinks the treatment of @JimCrowley1978 is right whether you like the new whip rules or not. So what will happen next?

The Racing Man@TheRacingMan8

Some races you watch and think the jockey’s in trouble. I still can’t see it in this race. I saw a great race. Rules are ridiculous but they had no option to issue the punishment as the rules stand. Boxed themselves into a corner.

Bans should be based on the amount of times you have broken the rules, shouldn’t be getting 20 days unless he’s doing this on a regular basis which he isn’t, 1st time 5 days, 2nd time 10 days, 3rd time 20 days, 4th time 30 days, with everyone starting afresh every 6 months.

Dean Goddard@drobgod

Shambolic because they are saying his crimes are that bad he misses 20 days but the horse keeps the race. So you’ve done something you shouldn’t have which has helped you win but we aren’t demoting the horse just banning you. Utter nonsense. Good ride, good horse…simples.

Jack Kearney had never ridden Last Ammo and I’m not overly strong on Galway tactics so said chat to Dylan and have a good think and come up with his own plan. Class rider, brilliant temperament and a pleasure to deal with.

Lewis Tomlinson@LTRacing_

Ash Tree Meadow brutal performance, to win the Plate, keen as owt on the front but never once looked like stopping, couldn’t be any more impressive

What’s the French for cul-de-sac? [It might be Blue Rose Cen!]
