Ahead of Longines Irish Champions Weekend at Leopardstown on Saturday September 10th and The Curragh on Sunday September 11th, three-time champion jockey Colin Keane will visit Festina Lente. This is Ireland's top equine and horticultural learning charity for those with special needs and the Champion Jockey has volunteered to give a riding lesson to some of the children at the Centre.

Festina Lente is the charity partner on day one of Longines Irish Champions Weekend at Leopardstown Racecourse. They are currently homed in Bray, County Wicklow, and are fundraising to secure the purchase of Belfield House and lands in Kilpeddar in order to ensure its survival and facilitate a move and expansion.

The Charity described as ‘world class’ is a leader in the field of equine assisted learning for those with special needs, employs 60 staff and touches the lives of over 40,000 Irish people each year.
