2.10 McSweeney Brothers Maiden Hurdle

After a disappointing run in Sligo last time out, Vadsa Queen is tempting to oppose here, but there is nothing else in the field that really stands out. If Willie Mullins' mare can put in a performance close to her bumper win back in June, she will take all the beating. Some small overnight money for Wisteria Bloom puts him in the frame but his form is questionable.

Selection: Vadsa Queen

Next Best: Wisteria Bloom

2.45 Seamus Mulvaney Bookmaker Novice Hurdle

The slight odds-on favourite Bialystok is the likely winner here. A good run in the Galway Hurdle suggests he might have a class advantage over some of his rivals today. The value bet though is Broomfield Bijou. She is coming off the back of a break so should be fresh. She won a really competitive handicap back in April having previously won her maiden with ease.

Selection: Bialystock

Next Best: Broomfield Bijou

3.15 Devon Inn Hotel Handicap Hurdle

Peaches and Cream is interesting here. He had a good run in Galway at a time when Gavin Cromwell's horses weren't in top form. That day he was two lengths behind today’s current joint-favourite Call The Tune. He may be able to reverse that form today and that might be good enough to win. Scarpia is an each-way contender for the McNamaras on debut for the yard. He was a three-time winner across the pond for Nicky Henderson.

Selection: Peaches And Cream

Next Best: Scarpia

3.50 Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa Mares Novice Chase

There doesn't seem to be an awful lot between the two mares at the top of the market, Heia and Brides Hill, in this one. They both may very well end up having lucrative seasons. We haven’t seen Brides Hill since April and she might just be slightly lacking race sharpness. For that reason, Heia gets the tentative nod. Probably best to just watch this one though.

Selection: Heia

Next Best: Brides Hill

4.25 Guinness Kerry National Handicap Chase

Ain’t That A Shame looks to be the standout contender in today's big race. He was last seen in the Aintree Grand National where he ran well for a long way and was minded by jockey Rachael Blackmore when his chance was gone. You would imagine that this has been the plan for this horse ever since. He ran well in a number of competitive handicaps last season. He will relish the soft ground and has a nice enough weight. He has a massive chance. Stealthy Tom has been running exceptionally well during the summer. This is a step up in class today but he has every chance of running into a place at double-figure odds.

Selection: Ain’t That A Shame

Next Best: Stealthy Tom

5.00 Brandon Hotel Beginners Chase

The Friday Man looks to be the most proven contender over fences in this one. Plenty of unknowns surround tho others near the top of the market. This is probably the selection's best chance to get a win over the larger obstacles after four near misses. Freedom To Dream also has a squeak here. He has contested some hot races in recent seasons but usually gives a good account of himself. He is back on the ground he likes and he could run a big race here.

Selection: The Friday Man

Next Best: Freedom To Dream

5.35 Listowel Vintners Association INH Flat Race

Patrick Mullins made it two wins from two bumpers at Listowel 2023 on Monday when he rode his 800th winner. He will more than likely make it three from three and winner number 801 here on Traditude Tara. She ran well in defeat in Wexford last time out and looks to be the obvious winner today. Another mare, Mag Dillane, could run into a place at biggish odds.

Selection: Traditude Tara

Next Best: Mag Dillane
