GODOLPHIN were always good supporters of the Tattersalls Ascot sales and Sheikh Mohammed’s operation is again supporting next Thursday’s Tattersalls November Sale which, along with all the other Ascot sales, has moved to Newmarket.

The four-strong Godolphin draft includes the 90-rated stayer Golden Flame, a four-year-old trained who has run well this year without winning, including when third to Jessie Harrington’s The Very Man in the Shergar Stayers’ Handicap at Ascot in August.

Also in the Godolphin draft are two unbroken two-year-old fillies, one by Night Of Thunder and the other by Lope De Vega.

There are 35 two-year-olds among the 138 entries, along with 25 yearlings, 44 three-year-olds, and the rest are older horses, including two broodmares.

A select draft from James Tate’s Jamesfield Stables includes the listed winning three-year-old colt Iconic Moment. The son of Harry Angel was unbeaten in two starts at two and began his three-year-old campaign in style with victory in the Listed Sprint Cup. Lightly raced, Iconic Moment boasts a Timeform rating of 99.

Also featuring in the Jamesfield Stables draft is Blue Storm, a two-year-old colt by leading first season sire Blue Point who won on debut on Newmarket’s Rowley Mile. Out of the listed winner Riskit Fora Biskit, Blue Storm has been placed twice since he won and finished fourth in a nursery off a mark of 87 on his latest start.

Richard Hannon’s East Everleigh Stables will bring a draft of nine, highlighted by Love Billy Boy. The Invincible Army two-year-old colt was a taking winner on debut at Musselburgh, beating the subsequent listed winner Myconian, and has consistently held his form since, gaining a Timeform rating of 85.

Of the 25 yearlings on offer, the National Stud is offering a Fastnet Rock colt out of a half-sister to the Group 2 winner Ubettabelieveit and the Group 3 winner Harlem Shake, whilst Kings Lane Farm will consign a Ulysses filly out of the listed winning and multiple group-placed mare Finidaprest, whilst Kingsclere Stud consigns a Phoenix Reach three-parts sister to the Group 1 Racing Post Trophy winner Elm Park.

There are also some National Hunt horses in training on offer, including Stepney Causeway, a six-year-old son of New Approach who has won over hurdles and fences and was last seen winning off a mark of 122 over two miles for Milton Harris.

Tom Lacey offers the seven-year-old Rock On Harry, twice a winner over hurdles in the past 13 months.

Richard Hughes is selling an interesting unraced three-year-old gelding named Tiger Crown. Owned by Rabbah Bloodstock, the son of Ribchester is a half-brother to Hong Kong star Akeed Mofeed and the Charles Byrnes-trained Wonder Laish.
