ARQANA Online’s Grand Steeple Sale will take place next Wednesday, May17th from 5-6pm and just a few days before one of the biggest European National Hunt meetings, the 2023 edition of the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris.

On offer will be a selection of recent National Hunt performers. The catalogue, now online on www.arqanaonline.com, will offer five jumpers:

Lot 1. Pacini will be offered by his trainer Mathieu Brasme. A winner on his debut over 2,900 metres, the three-year-old son of Poet’s Word is a half-brother to Stolen Shoes, a winner over jumps in the US this season.

Lot 2. Victorious last time out over hurdles on his second start, the Erwan Grall trained Batman Girac. The three-year-old gelding, a son of Bathyrhon, is from the rich blacktype family of Full Of Ambition, Aubisque, Full Contact, Full Jack, Fioca, J’y Vole etc.

Lot 3. Emmanuel Clayeux will offer Karia Des Blaises, a winner on her first start over hurdles at Moulins last month. The three-year-old daughter of Jeu St Eloi is from the family of Group 1 Prix Renaud du Vivier winner Karly Flight.

Lot 4. A runner-up on his debut over 2,300 metres at Senonnes and most recently a winner over the same distance, the Alain Couétil trained Kaleosun will be offered. The three-year-old son of No Risk At All hails from the family of group winners Quarouso and So Young.

Lot 5. Yannick Fouin will offer Joliepoule, a half-sister to the unbeaten dual Grade 1 winner Impaire Et Passe. The four-year-old daughter of Cokoriko most recently won over 2,400 metres on her second outing.
