GOFFS has released the catalogue for the Spring Store Sale at Doncaster. There are 200 lots entered for the one-day sale on Monday, May 19th.
The two-day Spring HIT/PTP Sale begins on Wednesday, May 21st, following an inspection day on Tuesday.
Notable entries include a Nirvana Du Berlais half-brother to Grade 3 winner Hispanic Moon, a Nathaniel half-brother to Grade 2 winner Jetara, a Crystal Ocean half-brother to Grade 1 winner Relegate, a Crystal Ocean half-sister to the multiple Grade 2 winner Irish Saint, a Passing Glance half-brother to Grade 1 winner Romeo Coolio, an Order Of St George half-sister to Grade 2 winner My Sister Sarah, and a Blue Bresil half-sister to the Grade 2 winner Indefatigable.
Goffs UK managing director Tim Kent said: “We have made a measured effort to reduce the numbers and focus on quality, which gives this sale a point of difference being a concise, single session event, which we hope can be a unique point of strength. In addition, all horses sold are eligible for the world’s richest bumper, the Goffs Hundred Grand, which offers buyers a significant amount of prize money to aim at which is a huge added incentive.
“We have also looked at the format of the entire Spring Sale week and this year will see the stores offered on the Monday, before a full inspection day on Tuesday ahead of the two-day Spring HIT/PTP Sale starting on the Wednesday. This will allow buyers all the time required to focus purely on these stores, which we feel will be a positive for all involved.”
