BREEDING rights to stallions Aclaim and Profitable sold for 45,000gns and 24,000gns respectively in this week’s Tattersalls Online Sale. Both rights were purchased by Dash Grange Stud in Oxfordshire.

Sire of Cachet, Aclaim’s covering fee this year is £6,000 while Profitable’s fee is €12,500. A breeding right entitles the purchaser to send one mare to the stallion every season.

A total of 10 lots were sold for 165,900gns. The top price paid was 50,000gns for the winning hurdler Farne, an eight-year-old mare by Stowaway trained by Noel Williams. She was purchased by the Stroud Coleman agency.

Godolphin sold the winning Kodiac filly Teodolina for 40,000gns to Co Kilkenny’s Clara Stud, who bred and sold her as a yearling. Jessica Harrington sold two three-year-olds, the unraced Beginish went to J.D. Moore for 5,500gns and the 73-rated Papa K was bought by Willie Muir for only 1,600gns.
