AMATEUR riders had one last chance to book their place to the RDS last Sunday as Ravensdale played host to the final qualifier. As expected with close to 100 combinations taking part, it came down to the wire. Of the eight places that were filled, all delivered triple clears.

Claiming victory Meath’s (A) Kevin O’Reilly and Furore S were clear in 34.59. This was O’Reilly’s second bid at booking a place to Dublin, having missed out in a place at the round at Galway the week before.
