SCAT Daddy was a well-bred and talented horse who died at the age of 11 and yet left behind a legacy that is growing.

The son of two-year-old star Johannesburg (by Hennessy) won a five-and-a-half-furlong maiden and the Grade 2 Sandford Stakes over six, but captured his Grade 1s at eight and nine furlongs, one as a juvenile and the other in March of his three-year-old racing campaign.
