GROUNDWORK Equine Assisted Services has made history as the first non-profit outside of the United States to be selected for the prestigious Seen Through Horses campaign. This international recognition places the Irish organisation among a powerful collective of equine assisted programmes raising awareness about the healing potential of horses for mental health and trauma recovery.

“Groundwork’s work is already transforming lives in Ireland through its tailored programmes for veterans and survivors of domestic violence. These services use the unique connection between horses and humans to rebuild trust, restore confidence, and promote emotional healing. However, continued support is essential to ensure these life-changing interventions remain accessible to those who need them most,” a spokesperson for the charity said.

“Fundraising through this global campaign will directly benefit Groundwork’s current participants, but the impact doesn’t stop there. A successful campaign could unlock the door for other Irish equine assisted services non-profits.”

By donating, sharing, or championing this cause, supporters are not only investing in Groundwork’s mission, they are helping to shape a future where equine assisted mental health services are widely recognised and available to all who need them. This is a chance to create lasting change, from a small farm in Ireland to a global movement of hope and healing.
