Claire Lacy and Danny Flynn’s Hazelrock Twist has been making waves on the Connemara circuit in the UK. The eight-year-old mare, who was bred by Kieran and Rosaleen Mc Grath in Claregalway, Co Galway, and is ridden by Sue Deakin, recently won the Horse Of The Year Show qualifer, ridden champion and overall Supreme Champion at the BCPS Connemara Breed Show (pictured). The owners will be looking forward to heading to the NEC in Bermingham next month for HOYS where she finished third in 2023 at the first time of asking. Claire and Danny are based in Oran, Co Roscommon with their two children, Clodagh (4) and Lucy (3), where they breed and produce Connemara ponies. \ Credit Still light photography ltd

John and Lisa Baker’s filly, Malahow Graces Legacy (by Moylough Legacy out of Inisfree Farmers Daughter), bred by Jenifer Banks and shown by Lorcan Glynn, had a great day at the Irish Draught National Show, where she won the two-year-old filly class before taking the In-Hand championship.
