THE final of the 2024 Jumps Ahead league, hosted by the Muskerry Branch on behalf of Area 5 of the Irish Pony Club, takes place tomorrow, Sunday, at Ballindenisk, where qualifiers were held on October 13th and 27th and November 10th.

With sponsorship from O’Brien’s Saddlery, there will be prizes for those placed from first to sixth in each class, as well as in each league, while Happy Hound Pet Grooming is sponsoring the best turned-out award in each class.

Following last Sunday’s final qualifier the league leaders are: 60cm, Carbery’s Clara Nyhan with Molly Dot Com (26 points); 70cm and 80cm, Duhallow’s Olivia Roche with Clonmoyle Tiger (30 and 26); 90cm, Duhallow’s Roisin Walsh with Something Blue (28); 1m and 1.10m, Araglen’s Patrick Leddy with Glenara Tiger Roll (24 and 20).

Over 400 rounds of jumping took place over the past three weeks and the organisers are anticipating some competitive rounds again tomorrow.
