MOORLAND My Oh My is Cathy Snow’s home-bred filly, who made history by winning two All-Ireland three-year-old filly championships this year and also the very special three-year-old filly class at the Clifden Show, obtaining the prestigious Lord Killanin Cup.

The latest win came in the All-Ireland Champion filly class at Ballinasloe last Sunday, where she won a big class of 19 fillies. No other filly has accomplished this success, but Moorland My Oh My comes from a long line of showing royalty. From her great-grandmother Easter Trixie, multiple Clifden winner, her grandfather Moorland Snowy River, who is a previous Clifden stallion champion, to her mother Kilpatrick Snowdrop, who was an All-Ireland Broodmare Champion and Clifden winner.

“This filly should have an exciting future ahead of her, with exceptional movement, deep-bodied and beautiful head and rein. The question is broodmare or aim for HOYS?” said her proud breeder Cathy, who breeds at Moorland Connemara Ponies in Letterfrack, Co Galway.
