MELISSA Glynn, the secretary of Athlone Show’s equine section, said “Yes, I would!” when asked whether she would take on the task again and she said it again when Colm Murray proposed at Ballynahinch Castle in Connemara just before Christmas.

Melissa, a teacher in St. Coman’s Wood Primary School in Roscommon, was also the Queen of the Fair for Ballinasloe Fair’s 300th anniversary in 2022. Congratulations to the happy couple!
