THE inaugural Interschools pony show, hosted by Patrician Presentation Secondary School Fethard in Garranmore Equestrian last weekend, brought together a spirited display of equestrian talent featuring 16 schools and spanning seven competitive classes.

With a total of 75 participants from as far as Kerry, Clare, Cork and more local Limerick and Tipperary, the event showcased the dedication and skill of young riders from various primary and secondary schools.

The weather proved to be ideal for both riders and spectators, creating an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation. The show, made possible by the generous support of sponsors, particularly Coolmore Stud and The Equine Warehouse.

According to show organisers, Coolmore Stud and Equine Warehouse played pivotal roles in making this event a success, providing crucial support for the aspiring equestrians.

Notably, the event was not just about competition; it also had a meaningful cause. Proceeds from the show will be directed towards the Graham Lee Injured Jockey Fund. This noble initiative ensures that the joy of equestrian sports contributes to a greater purpose, supporting those in need within the equestrian community.
