CHLOE Salley had a busy but successful Easter which started last Thursday week at the Irish Pony Society’s Spring Show in the Mullingar Equestrian Centre.

There, the 16-year-old won the open show hunter pony championship, a qualifier for the Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead towards the end of July, riding Penwind Charlie, a flashy eight-year-old gelding owned by the rider’s grandmother, and IPS stalwart, Margaret Miller.
