LIMITED seats remain available for the upcoming Teagasc tour to France, running from September 6th to 10th. The ‘Grandes Semaines de Fontainebleau’ young horse finals will be visited, followed by three days on breeding and production farms across Normandy (show jumping and eventing), as well as a visit to ‘Cirale’ veterinary school, clinic and research centre. Over the years, Teagasc has organised several similar tours, providing valuable networking opportunities with fellow travellers and farm personnel. The minimum age for participants is 18 years. These tours are designed for individuals eager to expand their knowledge of breeding and production. Tour days are busy, with early starts, and not intended as a ‘holiday’ experience. Tour partners Group Travel International manage the logistical aspects and bookings for the tour.
