Impressive victory for O’Meara in Belgium

TIPPERARY’s Shane O’Meara was in the ribbons in Sentower Park (Opglabbeek), Belgium, last week. He scored victory in Thursday’s one-star seven- and eight-year-old class aboard the eight-year-old mare Haranta, who is owned by Manton Grange Stables, who he works for in the UK. The pair were the fastest of 46 double clear rounds in the huge class which saw 76 start.
