WITH only one week left until the start of the TRM Show jumpers Club Spring Tour 2024 at Jag Equestrian, The Show jumpers Club are delighted to announce that Hibernia Sport Horses have come on board to support and sponsor a young horse league to run at the TRM/SJC Spring Tour shows.

The league will be for five-, six- and seven-year-old horses and will run as part of the supporting classes. They will be aimed at the lower height categories to offer riders and producers the opportunity to start their young horses quietly and give them the opportunity to prepare for young horse qualifiers later in the year.

The classes will be clearly marked in schedules and separate league tables for the age groups will be available on SJI Live. There will be a prize fund available to the overall league winners, together with coverings being provided to the owners of the leading mares by Hadley Sport Horses.

1.20m league

Along with this young horse league a 1.20/1.25m league will also run again, supported by Hibernia Sport Horses. This will also run as a league over the duration of the TRM Spring Tour in the supporting classes, with a league prize fund for the overall leaders at the end of the league.

These are valuable additions to the TRM Spring Tour and will ensure that the National scene continues to be viable and lucrative for all home-based riders.

TRM and the TRM SJC Spring Tour have become synonymous with the success of Irish-produced riders and horses and this is testament to this support of Hibernia Sport Horses, together with TRM and The Show jumpers Club.
