THE second part of the Ballyerk Connemara Ponies dispersal will run from Thursday, October 26th to Saturday, October 28th. This online auction will include yearlings, two-year-olds, three-year-olds, geldings and mares with foals at foot.

The sale has come about due to the upcoming retirement of Patrick Blake after 23 years in breeding and presents an opportunity to acquire original bloodlines of the breed, some of which are no longer available anywhere else in the world.

The foals with grey mares are mainly by Creaga Hero (Oisin x Windy Day), sire of Ballyerk Dun and Dusted, who was the CPBS Connemara Performance Pony of the Year 2021.

The mares have been running all summer with Goldthorn Foxglove (Price of Thieves x Loobeen Larry), a half-brother to Boulabeha’s Little Princess, the 2022 and 2023 Clifden Puissance winner, who broke the record this year at 1.65m.
