What are you driving?

I bought a new BMW 4 Series a year ago. I spend a bit of time in the car so I like to drive a nice one. Before the pandemic I was commuting to college in Dublin as well as going racing.

What’s your favourite feature?

Apple Car Play. I have Spotify on all the time.

What’s your mileage?

I guessed it was 30,000km per year but I’ve just checked and it’s 40,000km.

What are you driving?

A Ford Mustang. Myself and Emmet drove across the States when we were 21 and we said to if we ever got the chance to buy a Mustang we would. They only started making them right-hand drive in 2016 and then I had to wait until they came on the market second-hand. I thought, “If not now, then when?” Emmet bottled the promise!

What’s your favourite feature?

The switch to turn off the traction control. I might grow up one day.

What’s your mileage?

I do about 35,000 miles per year which is less than most jockeys, but then my daily drive to work is very short!

What’s your dream car?

An Aston Martin Vanquish

What are you driving?

I’m in a four-year-old BMW 520. It’s my third BMW – I had a couple of VW Passats before that. I’d love a new BMW but I don’t have Emmet McNamara’s money!

What’s your favourite feature?

I love doing up cars and lorries – I’m a bit sad like that. I’ve put tinted windows and bespoke mats in my motor. If I sold you a car you could be sure it was well-minded though she’s seen her fair share of bad roads!

What’s your mileage?

I’m averaging 55,000km a year for the past years.

Siobhan Rutledge

What are you driving?

I’ve had a few crap cars but now I have a red Mercedes-Benz CLA and I love it! It’s second-hand but it’s a sports version and has the alloys and everything. I’m kind of into cars actually.

What’s your favourite feature?

I like having the reversing cameras – no excuse for crashing into anyone now!

What’s your mileage?

Loads – I honestly haven’t a clue!

Jamie Codd

What are you driving?

Ford Mondeo. I can’t fault it. It drives well and has plenty of boot space. The car is my office a lot of the time and once the car gets me from A to B, and the phone works on Bluetooth, I’m happy.

What’s your favourite feature?

The heated seats are a great addition on these cold mornings!

What’s your mileage?

I’ve had this car six months and already I have 50,000km clocked. On average I’d say I do 80,000km in a year. Even though I don’t do point-to-points any more I’m still on the road just as much for Tattersalls.

What’s your dream car?

I wouldn’t mind one of those old-style Land Rover Defenders for around the farm.
