A STRONG sire profile for this year’s July Store Sale features three-year-old stores by a host of Grade 1 stallions, including Court Cave, Doyen, Getaway, Jukebox Jury, Kayf Tara, Milan, Shirocco, Walk In The Park, Westerner, Yeats and more.

All horses catalogued for this week’s two-day sale are eligible for the €100,000 Tattersalls Ireland George Mernagh Memorial Sales Bumper at Fairyhouse in 2023. This year’s winner of the race, Icare Desbois, was sold as a store last August for €28,000 by Niall Bleahen’s Liss House to Harold Kirk and Willie Mullins. This week Niall is sending two lots to the sale, A three-year-old French-bred son of Indomito, the first foal of a winner (Lot 191), and a son of Buck’s Boum out of a mare who on the flat and over jumps (Lot 293).

Both of these lots are in Part 1 of the sale, and there are plenty of others on the first day that catch the eye on pedigree. Some of these are highlighted below.
