A TOUGH couple of days at the Goffs Autumn Yearling Sale concluded this evening with the auction producing a set of results which witnessed sharp declines across the board and illustrated the testing trading conditions that exist at the lower tiers of the yearling market.

In a stark illustration of what has transpired at non-select yearling sales over the course of the autumn, this year’s enlarged sale witnessed muted demand for the stock on offer and this was reflected in all key indicators finishing a long way behind the results recorded 12 months ago.
