FOAL number 226 was born at the Irish National Stud last Saturday night. While all births are important, it is doubtful if the arrival of any foal this year at Tully was as highly anticipated as this birth.

The Queen has foaled! The headline heralded the arrival of a whopping 64kg colt by the great Frankel (Galileo), out of the six-time Group 1 winner Snow Fairy. Mother and son are doing very well and have returned to their place of boarding in Ireland, Neil and Virginia McGrath’s Simmonstown Stud.
