Above The Curve gave trainer Joseph O'Brien another big race win overseas on Sunday when the four-year-old filly made all the running under Maxime Guyon to win the Group 2 Prix Corrida at Saint-Cloud.

The daughter of American Pharoah won the Group 1 Prix Saint-Alary at Paris-Longchamp almost exactly a year ago and followed up in the Group 2 Blandford Stakes at the Curragh last September.
Although she finished last of seven on her reappearance earlier this month in the Mooresbridge Stakes at the Curragh, she was carrying a penalty that day and was not knocked about once her chance was gone on heavy ground.
Above The Curve was sent off the second favourite at Saint-Cloud behind her old rival Nashwa, trained by John and Thady Gosden. Holly Doyle's mount was making her seasonal debut and held every chance two furlongs out but had no response when the Irish filly kicked again with a furlong to run.
Mqse De Sevigne kept on to take second spot, two lengths behind the winner, with the German-trained India in third, a place ahead of the fading Nashwa.
